The most important key to proper coordination is excellent communication throughout the project.  For all of our projects, we require that the Owner, contractor and all design disciplines/consultants participate in ProjeXtranet, our proprietary, web-based project management tool.

We believe our technology to be far superior to other products being used today, and this is why, from an actual Users perspective:

I use it daily in all aspects of project management, from coordinating design issues to maintaining a smooth and rapid flow of information during construction administration.  An active client can also participate and track progress.

Everyone involved in a project, from the Client to the GC to the consultants has their own login access.  All modifications are automatically tracked by the time of change and the individual making the change.

During the design phases, I use it to exchange drawings with my design consultants.  No FTP sites required, I can set the maximum file size to fit my needs and capacity.

For complicated projects, ProjeXtranet offers a full array of filter and search tools.  I can typically find what I need in under a minute.  In fact, ProjeXtranet offers more functionality than I’ve needed.  However, it is nice to know those additional features are there to use if necessary.
