SMPS Business Development Roundtable

Really looking forward to seeing everyone at the next SMPS Business Development Roundtable (Monday, May 3 at 5 pm at the offices of Haynes Whaley). Even more excited about the topic: Social Media and Business Development!  We’ll have a speaker for each: twitter, facebook, linkedin and blogging… More information can be found here.

COAA Winter Workshop – Feb 11

We’re pleased to share details with you about an exciting one-day event February 11, 2010 at the University of Houston Alumni Center. This low-cost workshop, that includes all meals and CEU’s for your certification(s), is chock-full of timely topics geared toward any facility manager, given the current climate of uncertainty and economic stress.

Got a project going south and wondering what to do? An outstanding panel organized by John Crane, FKP Architects, will take a case study project and dissect what the Owner might have done at various points in its demise to salvage the outcome. This is more than theory. This is practical information you can use immediately to keep your projects on the right track.

We have a great presentation on Dispute Resolution techniques from Richard Reed, Coats Rose Corp. His presentation in San Antonio received outstanding reviews. He’s back, again, to give real world legal advice on this important issue.

Going to try Design-Build? Pose your questions to seasoned professionals who’ve already learned from experience. The experts will discuss what to do and what not to do when selecting your Design-Build team.

Also hear from the leadership team taking the University of Houston to Tier I – the elite level of national universities – Executive Director, Facilities Planning and Construction Spencer Moore and Executive Vice Chancellor Dr. Carl Carlucci. What does this designation demand for UH’s facilities, and how do they plan on achieving it?

Come see for yourself how this information-packed workshop is the best bang for your buck! Visit our website to see full program information and register today or e-mail us at kkautz@pwarch.com to learn more. Don’t delay, seating is limited!
